Involvement

At STOA, a sense of community is at our core. Stoicism emphasizes the benefit of community above individual gain or benefit.  Our Team is genuinely committed to the principle of community involvement and supports and encourages team member participation in numerous community organizations and charities.  The STOA Team participates annually in several charitable causes including PensaCAN, a competition where teams construct creative structures made entirely out of cans of food that are then donated to Manna Food Bank to help "demolish" hunger, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) programs at area schools and youth centers, and in the North East Sertoma Dragon Boat Festival where the STOA Team crews a Dragon Boat to raise money to fund local scholarships and grants.

 

As part of our effort to further improve the quality of life for all members of the community, STOA continues to pledge a percentage of our annual income to pro bono projects.
